What should I bring?
- PROOF OF VACCINATIONS - a MUST! All dogs must be current with rabies vaccine (unless your puppy is under 5 months old), distemper (DHLPP), caninie cough (Bordetella), and canine influenza vaccine. Pelase note: a canine cough (Bordetella)vaccine is required every 6 months.
- FOOD - Portion your dog's food in plastic baggies. Each plastic bag should contain one serving.
- MEDICATIONS - Bring all medications with specific instructions for dispensing.
- COLLAR - All pets must have a collar with proper ID tags.
- EXTRA ITEMS - Please DO NOT bring any extra items, as we cannot guarantee the return of personal articles such as blankets, toys, leashes, etc. We provide all of the rest: cookies, bowls, bedding, toys, music, playtime, campanionship and love.
What if my dog is on medication? That's not a problem. We can administer all medications for a nominal fee.
What if it's raining or snowing? Does my dog still play? Yes! Most dogs LOVE to play in the rain or snow (only if it's a little of course, we won't send your pet out in a snowstorm or downpour). During extreme weather we have two large indoor play areas that are climate-controlled where playgroups are held.
What if my dog doesn't get along with other dogs, can he still come? Of course! Your dog will still get to go out on his own 4 to 5 times a day so he can potty and stretch. We also have luxury add-ons so your dog can get even more one-on-one attention!
Can my dogs stay together? Can they be fed separately? Yes, but it is very important to let us know if they can eat together or not. If they need to be fed separately that's not a problem.
Why is my dog so tired when he gets home? Even though we schedule rest periods alternating with playtime, your dog is coming home after a fun-filled stimulating day. There is no place like home to relax, close your eyes and be by yourself!
Why is my dog NOT tired when he gets home? Our slow introduction process allows dogs to feel comfortable, as to not overwhelm or over-exert. The first few daycare sessions with your dog will be closely monitored and abbreviated for a successful day of play. There are some dogs that will not be tired at the end of the day due to their predisposed high-energy level.
Why is my dog so thirsty when he gets home? All of our doggies are provided with water 24 hours a day. They will sometimes seem thirsty when they first get home. This is not uncommon and is caused by the excitement and a full day of physical exercise. It is best to limit their water intake for the first hour of arriving home until they settle down.
