FAQs:

When can we drop off and pick up?
You can drop off or pick up between the hours of 6 AM to 9 PM, 7 days a week! We do not offer half day rates. Please remember that our lobby and retail store are closed on holidays so daycare is not available.

What should I bring?

  • PROOF OF VACCINATIONS - a MUST! All dogs must be current with rabies vaccine (unless your puppy is under 5 months old), distemper (DHLPP), caninie cough (Bordetella), and canine influenza vaccine. Pelase note: a canine cough (Bordetella)vaccine is required every 6 months.
  • FOOD - Portion your dog's food in plastic baggies. Each plastic bag should contain one serving.
  • MEDICATIONS - Bring all medications with specific instructions for dispensing.
  • COLLAR - All pets must have a collar with proper ID tags.
  • EXTRA ITEMS - Please DO NOT bring any extra items, as we cannot guarantee the return of personal articles such as blankets, toys, leashes, etc. We provide all of the rest: cookies, bowls, bedding, toys, music, playtime, campanionship and love.

What if my dog is on medication?
That's not a problem. We can adminster all medications for a nominal fee.

What if it's raining or snowing? Does my dog still play?
Yes! Most dogs LOVE to play in the rain or snow (only if it's a little of course, we won't send your pet out in a snowstorm or downpour). During extreme weather weh have two large indoor play areas that are climate-controlled where playgroups are held.

What if my dog doesn't get along with other dogs, can he still come?
Of course! Your dog will still get to go out on his own 4 to 5 times a day so he can potty and strech. We also have luxury add-ons so your dog can get even more one-on-one attention!

Do I need to make an appointment for a tour?
We're open 6 AM to 9 PM 7 days a week. Although we do have piak rush hours from 6 AM - 10 AM and 3 PM - 7 PM, you may have to wait a few minutes before we have an available staff member to take you on a tour. But if those hours are unavailable for you , please let us know as we can schedule your visit whenever it's convenient.

My dog isn't used to being in a kennel and sleeps in my bed every night. Is there anything tht will make my dog more comfortable?
Yes, we have hotel-style luxury suites that are quieter, more spacious and have many comfy bedding choices. It's a more home-like atmosphere. Also, consider trying out doggie daycare first so your dog can become accustomed to the new environment. This will make it less stressful when they vacation with us.

What's the daily routine?

  • We open at 6 AM so at that time all the boarding dogs are let out, fed and given water. The dogs will go out again to potty an hour after they eat.
  • The playgroups go out at 8 AM. They will play until noon and then come in for an hour's "nap time" (some dogs eat lunch at this time).
  • The groups will go back out around 1 PM and play until 5 - 6 PM. The dogs who don't play will go out to the bathroom with a staff member. Many hotel residents do their one-on-one luxury add-ons during this time.
  • Feedings will be done at 5 PM and they'll go out again an hour after they eat.
  • At 8 PM the dogs will go out again before we leave for the night.

What times are feedings done?

  • Feedings are at 6 AM, 12 PM and 5 PM
  • Please portion your dog's food into plastic baggies. Easch plastic bag should contain on serving
  • We can feed using our house diet for $1.50 per feeding.

Can my dogs stay together? Can they be fed seperate?
Yes, but it is very important to let us know if they can eat together or not. If they need to be fed separate, that's not a problem.

Why is my dog so tired when he gets home?
Even thoug we schedule rest periods alternating with play time, your dog is coming home after a fun, stimulating time on vacation. There is no place like home to relax, close you eyes and be by yourself!

Why is my dog so thirsty when he gets home?
All of our doggies are provided with water 24 hours a day they sometimes will often seem thirsty when they first get home. This is not uncommon and is caused by the excitement and a full day of physical exercise. It is best to limit their water intake for the first hour of arriving home until they settle down.

Is anyone there overnight?
We don't have staff overnight but we're here until 9:30 PM - 10 PM and open at 5:30 AM. We have an alarm system and cameras which are monitored by Jeni, the owner, from her home. Jeni and the Sandra, the Operations Manager, live 5 minutes away from the resort.
